EADS zieht um...

SiCoTec Engineering erhält den Auftrag für den Umzug des DOM - Projektionssystems Eurofigther Simulator vom Standort EADS-Ottobrunn nach Manching, Ingolstadt.

Im Rahmen des Umzugs soll der Dom, mit einem Durchmesser von 10,0 m, komplett neu überarbeitet und beschichtet werden. Durch die Überarbeitung und den Erfahrungen von SiCoTec wird mit einer wesentlichen Verbesserung der Projektionsoberfläche gerechnet.


EADS Moves Engineering Department

SiCoTec Engineering received an order for the relocation of the Eurofighter projection dome system from Ottobrunn to Manching, Ingolstadt in Germany.

During the relocation process, the 10m diameter projection dome system was completely revised and refinished, which made for a significant improvement to the quality of the projection surface.

SiCoTec Engineering is certified in accordance with EWF Guideline, European Adhesive Bonder, for Welding, Joining, and Cutting Technology. We now have two employees who have completed their education and training for EWF directive, DVS-EWF 3305. This opens up the development of new manufacturing facilities for cabin solution construction of flight and driving simulators.

SiCoTec Engineering startet im Rahmen eines FuE Projektes die Entwicklung eines komplett neuen Kabinenkonzeptes für Flugsimulatoren in Leichtbauweise. Durch dieses neue Konzept und dem ersten, eigenen Produkt erhofft sich SiCoTec nicht nur eine Marktstabilisierung, sondern hat sich auch das Ziel gesetzt bei Kabinenaufbauten für Flug- und Hubschraubersimulatoren eine weitere Gewichtsoptimierung von bis zu 30% gegenüber herkömmlicher Bauweise zu erzielen.

SiCoTec Engineering has begun developing an emerging and innovative concept for optimal light-weight construction of cabin flight simulator solutions. As the first in the industry to develop and own this construction concept, SiCoTec Engineering not only hopes to stablize the market, but establish itself as the forerunner in the construction design of the cabin solution superstructure for helicopter flight simulators. This cinstruction concept acheives an optimization of weight load of the cabin solution, up to 30%,when compared to conventional cabin solution structures.
